Default Looking for best flowing catback....Corsa or GMMG

Interested in max flow. Ground clearance is an issue, so I'm staying away from true duals.

Anyhow, debating between the 2....leaning towards GMMG, but not decided.

$0.02 always appreciated

I like both but in the end I went with magnaflow. Great flow and sound.

Corsa looks a lot better than GMMG, I think mostly everyone will agree with that. It's a very good sounding catback, albeit quite a bit quieter than GMMG. Corsa is much higher quality in the sense that even with my LT's and bullet style metallic cats, with the cutout closed, it is DEAD SILENT cruising. It's incredibly tame while accelerating normally and is pretty throaty at WOT. You just have to really get on it to get a lot of volume out of it.

On top of that, pretty much every dyno I've ever seen of open cutout vs. Corsa has the cutout gaining something like 2rwhp over the Corsa. The amount of horsepower the catback costs you is less than the amount of variance a dyno shows from pull to pull Somehow, I feel it manages to outflow GMMG, though I have no proof of that statement. I can tell you that my car went a consistent 2 tenths SLOWER at the track with my cutout open before my longtubes were on my car, and my car is A LOT more torquey with the cutout closed.

The downside is it's quite a bit more expensive than GMMG. Plus, if you're a young punk like me, the catback may not be loud enough for you. My car gets worse mileage with the cutout open and it runs slower and has less bottom end, but I always run the cutout open because I need the volume

Torchd 02 TA No more T/D's , well the GMMG will sound nice on your car. i just got done with my setup swaped over to kooks 1 7/8's and 4in mufflex and it sounds so good with the spintech and vindicator. the mufflex flows very well and sounds great no rasp at all just deep big block type sound i love it just wish it was alot easyer to get it to fit right.

i would bet that the corsa out flows gmmg. when i swapped my magnaflow to gmmg i was a little slower. its not like 50 horsepower but i wouldnt be suprised if you lose a tenth or so. i like the sound of gmmg better though. i have no idea what i would get if i had to do it over again. plus, i don't like the idea that the gmmg catback is only in 2 sections. it is kind of hard to remove from the car.

Available dynos charts suggest Magnaflow makes better power but flow numbers are just numbers ... typically they are hard to compare as flow bench settings change results. Who has better flow and under what test condtions?

I've seen dynos of people gaining hp going from GMMG to Magnaflow. Those dimples to a whole hell of a lot to slow down exhaust velocity. The Magnaflow is straight through and much smoother.

The most impressive dyno charts I've ever seen have been of Corsa. I've seen several charts of people gaining 2 rwhp with an open cutout. My car feels slower, actually, with the cutout open. I gain a buttload of torque with it open and top end feels unchanged. I can tell you I lost 2 tenths by opening my cutout at the track back before I had longtubes.
