Default Weber Racing 408 dyno

I was hoping for 500 but I can't complain too much since it was dyno'd outside when it was 105 degrees.....in the morning. Damn its hot outside, anyway. The mods are listed in signature. It was done on a dynojet, I know different dynos read high or low, I have no clue how dynojets usually read.

480hp @ 6000
453tp @ 4700

608/596 240/244

I am sure if it wasnt so hot outside, the numbers would have been better. Probably re-dyno in the winter when we have nice 60 degree days instead of 115.

The extra cubes eats up alot of that duration. The max power is made at 6000 instead of 6700 with a stock cube motor. It cruises fine as long as I stay above 1300rpm or I get cam surge. But I have instant throttle response.

Temp/humidity are corrected for 99.9% of the time.....It could have been pulling a couple degrees of spark from the IAT temps though.

Nice, and it peaks right around 6000! That should be one nasty street car.

What mufflers? That looks like one hell of a fun street car, but I'm thinking a TINY bit more power could be had. Of course, unless you are competing in a class, who cares? If you can hear yourself think at WOT, you have a good combo.

Was the FAST ported? If not that would be my next mod. Porting seems to make a world of difference with those things to the tune of 10-35 HP. I would expect it to be worth the higher number on your setup.

Understand guys, here in AZ we "usually" don't see big numbers because of the ridiculous heat/dry *** air/shitty gas. We have a few months out of the year with some decently cool weather and thats about it. No doubt a ported fast would be a nice bump in power though.

Just for reference, a friends 402 with AFR 225s, FAST 90/90, full bolt ons minus EWP and a custom FTI camshaft put down right @ 500.xx RWHP and 47x rwtq.

But we get to have fun in the winter time while everyone else is parked in the garage.
