3.42's or 3.73??
Hello all, here's a list of what my intentions are: tr224 cam, ls6 intake, headers, and a stall to match the gear ratio I choose. This car is a DD. I have done all the free mods, port and polish TB and have Magnaflow catback and SLP lid. I have both a set of 3.42's and 3.73's so now I wanna choose. I am currently running 2.73's. Sure bigger is better I know! But am I gonna gain that much more on the 3.73's from 3.42's?? I'm looking for the best streetable option. Thanks!

If you do a lot of highway driving at higher speeds (65-70+) I would get 3.42s. your gas mileage will be better. I just faced the same choice and that's what I went with.
If most of your driving is city or lower speeds or if you don't care about gas mileage, no reason not to get the 3.73s.
Either one will be a HUGE improvement over 2.73.
