Default What studs/nuts for Weld Prostars?

I'll have 15x10 Pro Stars on the rear, and 15x3.5 on the front (with 5/16" spacers). What studs do I need? Also, what lug nuts do I need for rears?
As I understand, after fitting longer studs, I'll have to use open-ended acorn style lug nuts for my ZR-1-style wheels?

Most people say I need 2.5" ARP studs if not using spacers. But at the same time 3.25" is recommended if 5/16" spacer is used. That doesn't make sense to me, I would think that 2.75-3" would be fine with spacer, if without it 2.5" is OK?

I went with 3" ARP's, Closed end shank style nuts with the stars, and open acorn with my C6 Z06 wheels. The studs are exposed with the open nuts, but the way my wheels are it doesnt look too bad at all. Use a good antisieze on the ARP's, they tend to burr up if your lugnuts or studs aren't lubed up. Good luck. BTW, I am running 3/16 spacers.

i was in the same boat as u, and currently still am lol... i really did not want wicked extra long studs (ugly IMO) so i went with the 2.5" in the front with the same wheel setup as u. the 2.5" are plently long for my standards but NHRA/IHRA rules state the stud needs to be 12mm into the hex portion fo the lug. and with the 2.5" it dosent look like its quite 12mm maybe 7mm but i still need to measure it.... i will prolly end up putting the 2.5" arp studs in the rear and getting 3.25" for the fronts i just hate the super long studs with my street wheels i was going to measure them today to be certain but i forgot... iw ill soon tho

Am I right that the only choices we have are ARP 100-7708 (2.5") and 100-7713 (3.25")?

Thanx! So I'll get 2.5" for rear and 3.25" for front with 5/16" spacer.
Maybe someone can also point me to open-ended acorn lug nuts (to go with these studs and ZR1-style wheels)?

Oops, I am running the 2.5" studs. These are the open ended acorn style that should work with the SS wheels. http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...0+115&y=2&x=32
Good luck!!!

For ZR1s these should work:

For Weld wheels, you will need these:

Camaro I think you gave me incorrect nuts
I think they should be 601-1422 (shank diameter .687) not 601-1922 ( .745)

Do I have to look for "60-degree bulge" nuts?

Go with 3.25 studs all the way around for the Weld wheels along with McGuard lug nuts/washers. I did with my draglites and i'm happy I did. I also use 5/16 spacers in the front for clearance.

What sizes McGuard lugs/washers for 3.25" ARP studs?

I'm not sure I will like the looks of studs sticking 2" out of my ZR1's...

Will the 2.5" stud work with a 5/16 spacer up front? And can I get a 2.5" stud also in the rear with 15x10 prostars and still pass tech?
