Default Dealer ship can not communicate with vehical??

Ok long story short. Lost communication while programing. Car will not talk to laptop any more. Have it towed to a dealership who says they can vin flah it. They call back and say no go. They can not communicate with my car. But i already new that. Thats why they have it after all. I thought dealer ships could fix this type of thing.??

This is a "no response to DLC port" or "Communication problem with DLC port". The dealership telling you that they cannot fix this is a stupid dealership. In SI2000 have them go in and put those keywords I wrote above and a whole troubleshooting process will come up for fixing the DLC (Diagnostic Link Communicator).

If neither of those work (they have updated their systems recently) simply put in "DLC" and a bunch of items pertaining to the DLC should come up. Select the one that fits your situation (I.E. no communication with the DLC port most likely) and get the troubleshooting list.

Well, if his chips are damaged or incomplete the PCM can't boot up and thus can't recieve/send class-2 transmissions.
