should i paint or powdercoat them?
hey, i bought some TEMPORARY bumper paint so i could see what my rims would look like powdercoated (i would do it black). what do you guys think, should i paint, powdercoat, or leave them alone? (i have the black headlights, turns, side markers, tinted tails, etc.)

painting is likely to be way cheaper, plus i think you have a bit more control over the color. besides as long as your not painting the outer rim, the paint should hold up fine in the center where there is very little wear.

Problem is, you get what you pay for.
Paint chips, and in the end, you will end up paying more after repainting them a couple times.

How this for an answer: Looks good either way - you really can't mess up a silver Camaro, can you?
Seriously, if you're going to change the color, I'd go with powdercoat. I've painted several sets of wheels and even though I did a good job, paint just won't stand up more than a couple of years, then again, I live where you have to deal with salt/snow. If you don't drive it a lot, then it probably will be fine painted.
