Default A/F Lean safety system*

i was on here a couple days ago and seen this A/F gauge that showed digitally your A/F and had a safety feature to it that if ran lean it would turn off your nitrous system
anyone know who sells this or where i seen it i remember the price only being $119.99 and it sounds like a pretty smart investment

Dynotune is the company you're looking for. They're sponsors here. Great peeps.

I beleive so, but runnin on the narrow band sucks..but its better then nothing, AEM sells a pretty cheap W/B gauge that works great if money is an issue, if not Dynotune carries some great products also

Narrow band is useless when it comes to tuning. Just nut up and buy the LC-1. It's well worth it.

I have one installed, and have not been able to get it working properly. I have contacted the guys, and even sent them a diagram of my wiring, but nothing yet.
Not trying to dis a sponsor because they seem like good guys, just haven't been able to help me sort mine out yet

same here, i had/have thier first version ($150) and it never worked.
sent it in (NEXT day ship $26),
they sent it back stating its perfect...nada. never worked as described.

its now a $150 paper weight because i wont sell something i cant verify is in 100% perfect operating conditions.
they even offered to take it back and barter out the $150 for other parts i was sourcing.
i shipped it to them ($12) and it got returned to me with "reciever refused delivery".
fedex charged me another $12 to pick it back up from thier outlet after it was mysteriously refused to be recieved by shop.
suggestion (FWIW)
be careful with items like this. if its jacked up you pay for a new motor.

Bottle Rocket - PM me your phone number I will personally make sure you are taken care of!

usd2sing:
THere are always 2 sides to a story and it is not our style nor will we make public your situation.
Please read the original post were we describe the features - this unit and the old unit have absolutely nothing in common with the each other. The electronics are 100% different as well as the algorithms in the software. Read the features compared to the old - as I mentioned in a previous post you are comparing a Cavalier to a Ferrari. SOrry you did not get the old one working well we have many out there and customers were very happy. But as I mentioned night and day. Not even a comparison. Some of the features:
Checkout all these features:
Microprocessor contolled
Built in Air/ fuel ratio display(narrow and wideband)
peak and Min A/F memory during the run
multiple outputs 12V and Ground
Multiple inputs 12V and ground
Programable trip point
Fast response
Super Low Current Draw
Micro Package Mounts Anywhere

WIth hundreds of these "NEW" units sold and engines saved you would be carzy not to run one!

=============
Dan,
I am totally confused. The box works mint! We have over 100 out there working well. 2 choices - we can either walk you through it on the phone and try to figure out whats wrong - if you have access to a multimeter. If not send it back and we will refund your money.

I dont know what else to do.....

Dean
=================

im gonna start a new thread.
if theres a 100 peeps out there i need to have them chime in..

2 sides to a story?
hmm. interesting.
sure is funny how the "old/original/more expensive" unit "mysteriously" got yanked off your website and the market in general.
and i ended up wasting what..over 300bucks with juice, relays, rewiring, burnt plugs, the unit itself, mutliple shipping impacts, etc etc.

NONE of this would have been an issue if you had kept to your word, but refusing to recieve the shipment, forcing me to eat it...nicely done.
thanks.

"NEW" unit?
kewl, good thing for the community, if it actually works and doesnt end up being a paper weight like what i have sitting on the shelf.
kudo's, good job.

to the OP, sorry if i went off here, just wanted you to know you are not alone with your problems. hope they take good care of you.

just a note as well, only the plx and the innovative widebands display the A/F ratio properly on the lean cut off switch. For AEM, Fast, and others you will need to look at the readout on your gauge and then look at the lean cutoff switch and see how much it is off, then program it accordingly.
