Default 94-96 camaro gauge cluster in 93?

What would I need to put a gauge cluster out of a 94-96 Camaro Z28 into a 93 Camaro Z28? The only difference I know between the 2 are speedometers drives. The 93 being cable diven. What would it take to have it reading the right speed and where could I get it? Thanks.

You have to cut out the tach filter out.

No need as they are the same. 93's are different in some ways but not a completely different car. Check out speeddensity.org. There are several people that do the swap. It seems some people have to cut out the filter but some don't. I had to to get my tach from jumping everywhere.

that's odd,we installed a 95 cluster into a 93 and the only guage that worked was the temp, the others were wacked out..swapped the 95 cluster back into the 95 and went back to normal....

I can't find anything on speeddensity.org. What would I have to do since I have 3.73 gears. My speedo is reading off. I know to correct it with the 93 cluster is to change the drive and driven gears in the trans.

The speedo will read correctly, but on my 93 with the 97 cluster I had tach issues.
