Going to need a lot of rework for spring perches,
control arm & Panhard link mounts, torque arm
mount, etc. Maybe you'd get lucky with the ABS
stuff on a later rear, but maybe not. This rework
is why the vendors get $2K or so for the F-body
12-bolts. Even there, some vendors seem to have
less ideal fit than others. The odds of Joe
Vise-Grips getting it right the first time are
very low.

The truck 12 bolt is also not very strong. The passenger car 12 bolt has a larger pinion shaft diameter. The truck 12 bolt pinion shaft has the same diameter as the older ten bolt. The strongest rear to use would be the Dana 60 but they are heavy, which is one of the reasons its so strong. It has close to a 10" ring gear diameter and big axles. Don't know of any companies that make one for an F body though.
