Default Disappointed with times

I went to the track about a month ago. I'm a little disappointed with my times. I thought I would at least hit a 12.9 with LTs, O/R Y, CB, QTP ECO, FTRA. My Car is a 2000 and has 3.23s.

Here is a breakdown of my best time.

R/T............ .084
60ft........... 2.093
1/8ET........ 8.558
1/8 MPH..... 85.406
1/4ET........ 13.177
1/4MPH..... 106.753

FWIW it was at least 99-102, I ran 2 times before and my times in the 13.2s @ 105 area.....

Should I be happy with these times or do you think there is something I need to fix? I only had slightly more than a 1/4 tank, my car weighs about 3700 with me in it

Are you talking about temperature when you say it was 99-102? If so, that would make a pretty good difference if you were to go when it was cooler.

every .1 you can take off the 60ft is worth .2 in the 1/4. You want to lower it? Get a converter (and good tires), my car at 6000ft running faster (barely) than yours at near sea level. I'd kill to run at your elevation, lol. FYI, my converter gave me anywhere between 6-9 tenths off my ET.

Yea it was 99-102, but felt hotter on the track. My times were going down as it got later but the track kept letting ll of the bikes and faster car run so I said to hell with it. I' going to lower my tire pressure more this time and see if that will help my 60fts.

I'm running the 275/40/17 fuzions on my CETA as well. I've messed with the tire pressure a little bit but doesn't seem to matter much with the street tire. My 13.08 1/4 mile run was with 30lbs of air and I turned a 1.95 60 ft time. Make sure you drive all the way around the water and I just did a 2 second burnout to clean any staging lane crap off of them. No foot braking, just stomp it on the last yellow and let the stock converter flash.

Yea i hope it is cooler but if not i'll make one pass when we get there and then i'm going to wait until it gets dark or close to it to run again. I hope i can finally run my car.

You'll hit 12's untuned if you get a decent 60' in a little cooler weather

Yea that's the strategy that I'm going to use. I've read on stock stalls it is better to flash it and most of the time it lowers the 60 ft by .1-.2

I tried to footbrake mine and the tires started spinning almost immediately while I was staged. The next time I footbraked it enough to load the rear a little and when 2.0x. That was on my bone stock runs at the 1/8th mile to just get a baseline. After someone told me to just flash it I just sit at idle and mash it on the last yellow. Every run after that has always been sub 2.0 on street tires with traction control turned off. Usually a 1.95
