Default QTP Electric cut-out

How long have your guys cut-outs work? I've had mine on the car for 3 months and the POS wont open or close now!! I have power to the motor so I know its not a wiring problem. Any info on warranty for the QTP's?

Been my experience that QTP's warranties end the moment you attach their product to the car.

Contact them and see what they say. I broke mine after a couple years use on a hard launch and they offered to fix mine for about $30. Back then they had a one year warranty, don't see one on their website now.

Just call QTP. I bet they will be very helpful unlike most the answers you are getting.

We've had multiple customers switch from QTP to DMH. When it comes to the product quality and warranty, the DMH is tough to beat.

We've got a sale going on them right now.

Take that POS .... QTP cutout off of your car..put it up for sale in the for sale section...buy a DMH cutout which has a 4 year warranty by the way and your troubles will be over...call Dave at DMH and he will get one/two out to you in a couple of days...good guy with a great product I have had mine on for over 3 years and never had a problen .. and it has be hit by a big rubber gator (simi tire tread) and a large dead dog and nothing has stopped it from working...

The one on my friends truck has been okay and he has had it for about 3 months.

No telling how long it will last though.

Yea my QTP motor actually fell off while I was going down the freeway, at first I thought I hit something but when I got home all I seen was wires hanging down lol.
The screws that hold the motor on backed out...I bought it as a newly rebuilt unit!

I am just going true duals anyways so f-it.

I've had mine for about three years without problems. I was just always careful not to keep the motor running after it was completely open or closed.
