Default 18x10.5s All Around?

I'm planning on doing strano springs and koni shocks. Will 18x10.5s clear in the front? If so with what size tire? I'd still like to run a wider rear tire. Anyone have pics with stranos and 18s?

But if you can give me any info I'd really appreciate it and pics would be a plus

I could have swore that guys have run 11" zr1s on the front but could be wrong. This car is my street car, well when its not raining so they have to fit good and not rub anywhere

Yes it has been done before. I believe he ran 18x10.5 Z06's. I don't recall the details, but do a search and you should be able to find the info your looking for.

Honestly, you have more room in the front, then the rear for wider tires/wheels. So, yes a 10.5" whee can fit up front. You just have to get the proper offset.

Yeah I want to do C5 z06s in the dark grey wheel for my car, but I don't want a 17 and 18 combo or 17x9.5 all around since I already have those. I did some looking and didn't really come up with anything, but remember seeing a blue lt1 firebird with 17x11s with 315/35s on all 4 corners and he was lowered too. I don't want a huge front tire, but something a little smaller than the rear to keep a staggered look.

What size tire would I need for the front and rear?

Thanks for the replies

You could do a 285/35-18 and 315/30-18 since you said you wanted a wider tire out back.

Yeah I looked up some tires and I'm going to stick with the 17s for a while. 18s are way too expensive IMHO cheapest 315s I found were $250 each and they were the BFG DRs and the cheap fronts 275 or 285s are around $150ish each. I guess it would make me drive my car a little nicer since I'd have to spend almost a grand everytime I needed tires.

I'm going to strip down my silver zr1s this weekend and spray them a dark grey or gunmetal color and see how I like it. The wheels need to be redone anyways and if I don't like the grey I'll repaint them silver.

yup, it can be done. I've seen 18x10.5 as well as 20x10 in the front. Both with the pro kit springs
