!EGR and Measured NOx
I'm considering upgrading to the LS6 intake before my LT install and was wondering if anyone has passed state emissions tests for NOx without the EGR installed. Could a proper tune take care of the SES light as well as pass for measured NOx?
Thanks..
Thanks..

NOx comes from lean and high pressure in the cylinder (so you
have nothing better to do than burn nitrogen).
You probably want to zero out the EGR advance and make the
main spark table look like a non-EGR car. Excess advance adds
to peak cylinder pressure / heat in the hole.

The county I live in (El Paso) has suspended emissions testing..for now. But previously they did a visual and sniffer test. But all of my vehicles were well below the threshold for NOx and HC which makes me wonder if the Camaro would be passable without EGR. The visual was for CATS with a quick look under the hood. The emissions sticker would be a tip-off that EGR should be there.
