oh and the guy above me^ why did you post in here to just say that and not the answer to the op's question.
The reason why i thought this is because i did my header install with a friend and i asked for egr obviously thinking we all had egr and he said that we did so we connected the egr with what i thought was egr, ill snap a pic but what can this **** up by doing this?

alright is this the egr because it was a BITCH to connect and i knew that something isnt supposed to be connected if it took bending the stock whatever it is hahaha. So is this bad i have this connected? Sorry for the really REALLY dirty engine bay

EGR - Exhaust Gas Recirculation - Emissions controll device. Injects exhaust gas back into manifold for re-circulation. Came on 98-00 f-bodies only. Never on y-body or 01-02 f-body due to revised camshafts.
