had 3" TD's on my car and it sounded AWESOME. That also had something to do with 12.5 to 1 383, LE2 cam, 1 7/8 headers, etc but still, the exhaust sounded AWESOME and would get looks everywhere I went.

I got these parts . . . .

I spent about $120 at the muffler shop getting it installed. They added a few 3" pieces of pipe and a couple of pieces needed to be bent.

^^^^It's cheaper to just get a universal kit and have an exhaust shop fab it up. Fabbing a universal kit would probably make more power too. From the looks of all those bends and that crossflow muffler on the bassani kit, it looks like it could be rather restrictive.

i didnt get the universal kit but i did just order 3" bends and such the parts total for dumped was 250ish and all together to go over the back it was somewhere around 400-500 but then i also spent 500 in labor for it being full custom and to get it to work w/ my crossmember...have about 1k into the duals themselves

That's what I'm doing. I got the 2.5" kit though. And, I'm just going to go under the axle to out back. So far, without labor, I've got about $500 in mine, counting headers, x-pipe kit, mufflers, egr blockoffs, and o2 extensions. I'm guessing labor will be atleast $200, since I'm having them put the LT's on and I'll also have a couple other things done while it's there.

Thats true. For my situation though, I had tried countless exhaust shops in my area and they either said they wouldn't do it, or duals won't fit, or they didn't have a mandrel bender, which i wanted. I wanted to stay away from the universal kit for clearance issues, but if its not an issue to you go for it. Im happy with my clearance, the lowest point in my exhaust are the flanges off the headers.

Makes sense. I sure hope that they can tuck mine up in pretty well. I'm going to be buying some Eibach Sportlines next week. I wanted a Prokit, so it wouldn't be so low, but I'm getting all 4 springs for dirt cheap, so I can't pass it up.
