Change to MAF 85mm -> DTC p0171 & p0174
Here is my story. (I'm french, I'm ready a lot here but I don't make many posts because of my english tongue level)
I've got a 99 corvette (with 78mm MAF). I have to upgrade my induction. So : why not change for a 85mm MAF ? like the 01+ C5. and buy a 01+ induction !
I've bought one truck MAF (brand new) on ebay (cheeapp : $25) and harness (casper)
I've got HP tuners : no problem to replace the MAF TABLE.
but my clutch is dead : I've bought a new clutch and headers.
I'll do this on my C5 later.
So I've gave my maf to a friend for a try : he has a 01 Camaro.
Now he has lean code !!!!
DTC p0171 & p0174
my question is:
-Is my MAF bad or ... C5 MAF table don't fit fbodies MAF table !!!!
I've looked round and round : same 85mm MAF for trucks, C5, C6
but not the same MAF Table (maybe because the air box are differents)
Is is true ?
If yes : I'm looking for a MAF TABLE for F-BODY!
P.S Ive double-triple check : No vacuum leak

yes I know, but it's only possible with a wideband. and the wideband is on my C5 not on the camaro !
I am the only one ?
I can still tune the VE table via LTFT... and check the % error with maf.
but I don't know if it's very reliable...

When I've flashed it, it seems to be perfect... but not 100 miles after.
I think I have to log his car.
btw, when he comes to my house to tune it, he has mounted my maf and drive with the stock maf table : no DTC !
