Default Change to MAF 85mm -> DTC p0171 & p0174

Here is my story. (I'm french, I'm ready a lot here but I don't make many posts because of my english tongue level)

I've got a 99 corvette (with 78mm MAF). I have to upgrade my induction. So : why not change for a 85mm MAF ? like the 01+ C5. and buy a 01+ induction !

I've bought one truck MAF (brand new) on ebay (cheeapp : $25) and harness (casper)
I've got HP tuners : no problem to replace the MAF TABLE.

but my clutch is dead : I've bought a new clutch and headers.
I'll do this on my C5 later.

So I've gave my maf to a friend for a try : he has a 01 Camaro.
Now he has lean code !!!!
DTC p0171 & p0174

my question is:
-Is my MAF bad or ... C5 MAF table don't fit fbodies MAF table !!!!

I've looked round and round : same 85mm MAF for trucks, C5, C6
but not the same MAF Table (maybe because the air box are differents)

Is is true ?
If yes : I'm looking for a MAF TABLE for F-BODY!

P.S Ive double-triple check : No vacuum leak

You need to log data. Then make your own table. There are histograms in HPT for this. If you cant to that just stay with stock MAF

yes I know, but it's only possible with a wideband. and the wideband is on my C5 not on the camaro !

I am the only one ?

I can still tune the VE table via LTFT... and check the % error with maf.
but I don't know if it's very reliable...

Typically cars with that MAf run rich, not lean and it gets worse as freq. increases (upper RPMS at WOT) since peak freq arrives much earlier on an 85mm MAF than a stock F-body MAF.

Yep but I've tune it with a 2001 C5 MAF Table.
When I've flashed it, it seems to be perfect... but not 100 miles after.
I think I have to log his car.

btw, when he comes to my house to tune it, he has mounted my maf and drive with the stock maf table : no DTC !
