Fitting 275/60-15s on 99 SS??
Just bought a set of MT et street drag radials for my car. The rear end and suspension is stock and although I've read multiple places that they will fit it looks like they absolutely will not and if so they will rub bad. Any input on this?

I actually hadn't thought of wheel clearance issues until i did some research on the forum. I have not yet gotten wheels for the tires so i just kind one set of the drag radials next to one of the rear wheels and it looks like it will be extremely close to fit them. Did you have to roll/hammer the fender or wheel well at all?

My 275/60/15s fit fine. Of course I had to grind my calipars to clear the wheel with the brakes, but as for the tires, just bolt them on. A radial tire will not grow like a slick, so even with the 28" diameter, you should be fine. My car is also stock height with stock springs.
