Thumbs up First Start with GM847

Its finally done!!! Let me know what you guys think. Try not to bash me for having stock heads LE2's are next on the list of things to do, but for now the stock heads will do.

also what kinda HP#'s would you guys estimate im hoping for somewhere in the range of 340-360

most of the mods are in the first movie but Impalla headgaskets, K&N CAI, !AIR, !EGR, !A/C, MadZ28 tune are some of the others

Much longer than it should have it was actually spread out over several months cause i was busy with other things and the car had to take a backseat to some other things.

Just to kinda tone it down some since i still have stock heads no need to put extra strain on the valve springs if the heads are just gonna choke it out. Im gonna switch to 1.6's when i get some LE2's

damn that sucks you gonna keep her and rebuild it? ya im glad i finally don't have a stock LT1 but i don't plan on running her at the track until i lose these damn 245's i want a 315 in the back but i think im just gonna settle for some ZR1's instead of something thats real expensive. did you have any times on the bottle?

ya car ran a 12.0 at 118 2.0 60FT on a 150 shot. I'm already working on getting the old engine out. I could never get the car to leave the line hard it would always spin or bog. It pulled like a freight train up top but the 60ft always held back good track times. Once i get a new engine in, a rear end and some suspension are in line.Plus some one in my neighborhood keeps slashing my tires and i cant figure out who it is. Im $1600 deep in tires this year alone so thats kinda holding me up a bit.

damn that sucks about the tires! Ya the 118 trap speed is damn impressive and i completely understand the traction issue i had it with my car with CAI only. im pretty sure it has to do with my driving. i need to get some tires and more seat time asap!

I completely agree with your choice of rockers. if i would have gone with the 847 I would have done the same thing. Instead i went with a smaller cam and 1.6s though.

LOL so you want a vid of me in a ditch? 8.5" wide wheels + big cam = no traction! Na im just cruisin it for now i have a new knock sensor that im waiting on to be delivered the old one is broken so i don't think its pulling timing like it should. Breaks up down low i also think that its getting real bad o2 readings without the rest of the exhaust on (lots of false air) and i think i have a little vacuum leak so i still got a few kinks to work out before im ready to turn it loose.

Sounds good, Brett (Pepe) had that cam with the stock heads before he did a 396, car was really fun, ran great and sounded mean with that cam
