Couple friends and my brother said that cops are now settings up these wireless laser systems here in Bucks County (outside of Philly). You'll see this on the side of the road and up a bit is the officer waiting for you.

This is the first Ive heard of it. Anyone else with knowledge on it if its true or not?

Yeah I got nailed by them several times. they do random speed details. What a great return on investment huh? Cost is $2500 and one day they made $17,000 working from 8am to 5pm on a several of our local roads here. Thats just in ONE DAY. I love how they say slow down too....uh huh, like you really care about people's safety. Just another f*ckin tax, as if we don't pay enough.

No Respect. I hope more people run them over too...i heard someone telling me that people have been running over the ones around here. lol. Thats pretty ballsy b/c the cop is usually sitting right up or behind them.

I didn't see it and it didn't have 4 ways on... I've heard of a timing thing around me where they time you from like that thing to where they are and catch you for average speed over the limit. IDK i that is true or not though.

That type of speed timing device is called ENRADD. Great little device, super accurate, undetectable, and stealthy. The cost is actually around $5,000 after you factor in all the training and certification. Basically how it works is there are two infared beams which activate a stopwatch and foward the speed into the reciver in the patrol car.
