um, try a hammer, i'm not sure if bondo would be the best idea on a muffler.

Im not sure how much heat the gold bondo will be able to withstand. All metal would have been a better choice.

having bondo or filler on the muffler is gonna look more like *** than just having a dent. doesnt really matter if theres a dent on the muff to imo

why is this dent an issue for you?

i'd use lead filler personally though. but im not a pro at anything, just seems better to me than something made of plastic/synthetic

Body filler will not work on a muffler. Never even heard of anyone trying to do that. The body filler will fall off as soon as the muffler warms up. I have removed body filler before from cars with propane torches. Doesn`t take much heat to pop that stuff right off

i like how people get on to people for asking questions. that is the whole point of ls1tech, to ask questions, help people out, and learn something. not trying to get harrassed. just looking for advise and help

Yeah, bondo wont stay on a muffler. Maybe you can have a body man pull the dent out with a stud gun? then all you would have to do is smoth out the metal where the studs were welded on.

How bad is the muffler, is it something that can be flipped around? On the other hand if you don't already have a cat-back set up there is your excuse to buy one.

the bondo won't stick and neither will a decent quality filler. The muffler sees a lot of vibration and heat and will very quickly pop loose anything you put on it.
