Default Penn State University Park

Hey Everyone i'm transferring from Penn State Harrisburg up to the main campus at University Park. Just wondering who else is up there with a nice car to maybe meet up with and go for a drive. Also are there any car meets or anything up there that I could join in on as soon as i get up there. Let me know what i get to look foward to haha.

im guessing you will be a junior next year??? I will be a senior next year and I go to the psu car meets every once in a while. go to psulpac.org Let me know if your looking to go to the first meeting. They usually hang out in a parking lot and then go to dinner at champs or another sports bar. Im not sure if i will have my car up there this year or not but my mods are in the sig. Good to know theres another ls1 in state college. p.s. whats your 1/4 time?

I'm starting there this semester, just got accepted very late in the semester as a transfer student from a community college. I am actually looking for a place to live right now.

I was born and raised i State College. If you guys ever see me around, I'll race you anytime

There are a handful of very powerful LS1 cars in the area. I come up about once a month.

I haven't looked at the car meets yet, we'll definitly have to hang out together a bunch. What you mean you aren't going to bring your car??? You better i need someone to cruise with. I haven't run 1/4, i have a consistent 8.7 1/8th mile car no good 1/4 close by. Still working on good tires, will be takin the car to Rapid when i get up there and gettin full Suspension so i'll needa head to a 1/4 after that. Yes i'll be a Junior. When's the first meet?? We should all go, you being a senior can show us transfer students around and stuff!!

Im transferring up there too as a Junior but Im keeping my WS6 at home. If you see a Mystic '96 Cobra around thats me and my buddies. Me and two of my roomates all have muscle cars just not with us but we'd all be down for meeting up and hanging out some so just hit me up.

Just bring the car over to my apartment and we will get your suspension done no prob!

wtf why is everyone leaving their cars at home this is very sad and depressing. Another thing that is sad is that PSULPAC's top 1320 2008 list. I'm like #3 and i'm basically stock.... Have you put in a rear end and full suspension before?? I might take you up on that if you have the right tools around because it would be like $1700 just for instal which is dumb i just dont have the skills or tools to get it in myself !!

theres really no need for a car b/c all the buses they have there plus you can pretty much walk to anything but its nice to have a car for when you go home and whatnot and if you wanna go outside campus a ways. I just dont feel comfortable leaving my car up there so Im letting my roomates pay the $350 a semester or whatever for parking and just ride with them

dang you don't feel comfortable??? That makes me feeel mad safe to have my car up there . I just plan on parking it outside my apartment for like 95% of the time and take busses everywhere and walk. Except for like pickin up groceries or going on drives i dunno i dont plan on driving to school. Oh well i need it up there so i can get more parts in my car haha that can be my excuse!!

My future roomate has a car, and I plan to use that as much as possible. I'm not wure what I'm going to do about parking, because, though I haven't been there, apperently there is only one parking spot alotted per apartment where I'm moving.

I will probably also buy a bike when I'm up there (the no-fun after 16, pedel kind). The guy I'm renting a room from says he walks the 20 minutes to classes everyday. I dunno if I'm up to that <---------LAZY.

I'll be up on the 23rd also but without the car. I might bring it up once before winter but its hard with all the snow and salt and whatnot. I might try to make it to some of the meets with my jeep.

I'm moving my younger brother in on Saturday (23rd).
He's moving out of his frat house and into an apartment.

I can't promise I'll have time but PM me if you want to meet up.
Or just look for a NBM Camaro with a Sunoco hood, SS spoiler and B&B exhaust.
