Default help,need pics of fasttoys ram air (installing problem)

got the kit.. no instruction, i installed it without them, but want to see this in other cars to be sure,

i also cant close my hood, i i have the flat hood!

Sounds like your lid might not be re-installed straight.

i got the 85mm fasttoys lid, i've heard that the SS hood did not close well, but i have the oem flat thing,

do i hafe to cut something from the orginal intake?

i found that pic


mine does not look like that at all, there is some plastic over big part of it

yeah, lots of people trim that entire area out in the lower airbox.

that would not be a bad idea. i had the benefit of having the front bumper off, was filling up the grill holes

Don't cut that middle section out. The instructions specifially tell you not to cut it. I left mine in, it seems like it's needed to support the filter.

Mine is cut exactly like the one in that pic, and I have no fitment problems.

there is no need for that center plastic....besides blocking air...cut it out the filter is supported on the whole outer edge...

update

i cutted out the whole bottom, fits grate,

the car sounds diffirent now. and idles faster, cant wait to get the new map
