Default So I drive into AZ after 3000 miles

Car ran great got about 300 miles per tank (pushing it)
Ive been here before kids go to school no problem. Hot ya you can say that but in the evening its nice you can put down the windows.
One problem my drivers side window is giving me fits. It works 99% of the time but just when you want it to go up it doesn't and its hot. Damn I call Vans Chev and they say most likely the motor if there is no grinding.
300.00 freakin bucks to install one.
Any other help out there anyone with tools and has replaced a motor?
Thanks

Don't have any experience with that but my advice would be to stay away from Van Chevrolet. Call Jon o'Brian at Cardinale Way Pontiac 480.889.6633 tell him Iain (GTO) sent you over there for some help.

ws6 store has a product that helps with voltage to the pass door helping the window motor go up faster.

i just did mine a month ago its not bad takes about 2 hours tops and the motor cost 25 dollars. take the door pannel off remove the door spreaker drill 3 holes support the window and then drill out the rivets. You can really do it in an hour or less if you have everything layed out and are good at putting door panels back on

Thank every one for your help.
It sounds like the heat and these motors do not match.
Have they upgraded the motors for the heat or are they still original spec from years ago.
Thanks again.
PS I would like to meet some of you guys / gals some time.
