Very cool video! Pretty much the expected outcome given the specs on each car, lol.

Are you sure that was 900hp on low boost? Seems slow compared to a 150 shot vette.

Well, heres the story on the vette. He admits it is cammed, built shortblock, and "truck heads". On a 150 shot. We know the block is iron, but he claims it is stock cubic inch (346, however that works). Other than him, no one actually knows. The guy is pretty cool so I dont expect hes lying, but his car does seem to run damn good for what is done.

formulajunky, no its not my viper, it is a friend of mines. The previous owner of the viper was out with us (he was the one who had it built), and he said that on that boost level he would be making roughly 900whp. So that wasnt really a "technical" estimate.

And of course, the viper was on street tires. I could feel it skating all over the place in the passenger seat.

Thanks for the compliments.

Ok, I did not know he was on street tires. I guess traction would be an issue with that much power.

Surprisingly the car hooks "better" than youd expect. The boost comes on really smooth, I assume Its loading the suspension pretty good and allowing him to hook.
