Default Take a look at bumper and door please

My door has been just nipping the fender when I open and close. The other day I pulled out of the gas station and didn't have the door closed while I was making a right hand turn. The door swung open pretty damn fast and BAM, that is what I got. Being a glass door and the location of the damage, will this be a easy fix and will I be able to make it look like nothing ever happened?
Now for my bumper that I am working on. I have it all sanded and primered. There were some some small nics that I filled with some spot putty that I still need to sand down. So don't mind those. But for the parts of the bumper where the black is coming through, will it be ok to spray the base coat over the bare bumper or should I primer those couple of spots also?

I would reprimer those spots. As far as your door it does not look easy unless you take it off.

definetly reprime the bare spots, and did you use any kind of adhesion promoter, I know its not required with some primers on plastics but just curious.

The door would be an easy fix if you take off the fender. My driver's door was broke at the bottom and with a little fiberglass resin, you can never even tell it was there.

Fiberglass resin rocks!

I have used it extensively in reconditioning my scoop. I recommend the putty filler as well for a finer, smoother finish. I am not a paint and body guy, but have gotten decent results.

I did not use a adheasive promoter. I use SEM flexible bumper primer. The guy at the auto shop said that is all I will need.

Holy crap! You used fiberglass resin. These panels on these cars are NOT fiberglass therefore you can not use repair materials made for fiberglass. The panels on our cars are made of SMC (sheet molded compound). Do a search on here for SMC. I'm tired of explaining it to people why you have to use repair compounds made specifically for SMC.

By the way I'm an actual collision technician.

Ok, I'll look into it. There has to be someone on this site that has had some sort of damage like this that could throw a few pointers this way.?.
