Once the cops figure out the nature of the event there probably won't be any more events. Nice burnouts but I'm with the others when they say it was the wrong place and time to be doing stuff like that. I'm surprised the cops didn't show up and tell everyone to go home after that.

They're not going to stop the Woodward Dream Cruise. Over a milliion people show up every year for it. And the cops only give a **** about the wealthier areas of Woodward. Without a few burnouts the Cruise blows, its just a huge parking lot of the same car over and over again. Best thing I ever saw was a motorhome doing burnouts. You'd be suprised with the amount of people that no one gets hurt.

Just cuz a bunch of chicks pop they're ******* at Mardi Gras, doesn't mean they're going to shut it down. Big events = Big $$$$. Plus he wasn't in alot of traffic at all, most of the time the cruise is literally 2mph and a shitload of overheating cars. Totally harmless burnout, lighten up.

i know it has tamed down a bit since i have been there. once night fall comes that was when it got nuts. haven't been there for a few years now. but when i was there there were two guys in a Chevy II doing wheel stands in the cuise!! i would pull up a few car lengths and guy would lift the front end on the street not much but still had air under the tires.
woodward is something everyone should experiance at least once in there life.

There used to be a big show and cruise out here in the sticks. At a big gas station called "Trailside". Its like a truck stop/wawa type place. Anyway...people used to leave and do burnouts. The cops started to hide up the road, and get people. So after awhile, some would volunteer to do a burn out, and get pulled over and while the cops were busy with him, 10 people would do some burnouts and leave.
Well..needless to say it got shut down. So another place started to have the show. This place was smarter, and worked something out with the local cops to allow ONE burnout at ONE spot on the road when you turned out to start the cruise. Not as exciting because its organized at that point. But it was still better than getting ticketed and having the cops shut the thing down.
Cool vids and that show looks like it'd be fun!
