The fine print:

We must have 10 orders by Sept 1st to make this go. The cams and packages should ship 7 to 10 working days after the conclusion of this GP on Sept. 1st. The price for the Mail Order Tune is ONLY good in conjunction with this GP. Also no other discounts can be applied to the GP prices and shipping and handling are extra.

I just got my specs from Pat G and Im waiting for his reply I will be ordering a custom grind cam from you guys

how would your blower cam do for my silverado 6.0L with magnacharger and big tires? would the old man cam be better for a truck?

Yes, our 215/230 blower cam would work great in that application. We have used it with great success in Magnacharged trucks.

Yes it can. Just make sure you send an email to Shane with the attached cam build sheet provided by Patrick G

I recommend the Patriot duals due to the aggressive nature of the lobes.

you guys should grind one that only needs 918's. Its not like the oldman cam is a max effort cam anyways. You could sell a lot of them for trucks

Honestly, the cam may work with the 918's. I have never tried it. The cam fits within Comps guidelines for the 918. Its just my personal opinion but I would feel more comfortable with the duals and that cam.

Thanks for the overwhelming response to this GP! We have more than covered the 10 needed for it to go through. I will start processing the orders placed through the 1st on Tuesday the 2nd. Due to the pending arrival of Gustav, we will be accepting orders on this deal through the end of next week...:D

Hurricane Gustav is gettingt real close to louisiana..........Shane will this effect thunder racing? After all that state has been through I hope you guys get some where safe

As I posted earlier, the GP is a done deal. We have more than enough orders to cover the 10 needed. Due to the hurricane and the unknowns involved, we have extended the deadline to get in on it through the end of the week. I will begin processing the first batch of orders as soon as we get back from the holiday but we will continue accepting orders through Sept. 6th.

yeah they extended the deadline......i havnt been able to get in touch with thunder but im sure they are still recovering from the hurricane and are trying to get things back to normal

We should be back in the shop tomorrow (most likely with no phones or power yet) but should be processing orders.

I will post more tomorrow on how to proceed with ordering for this GP. Thanks very much to everyone for all of their patience while we have been recovering from Gustav.

At my last count we had 18 orders to put through. What I would like from all of you is to place an online order for the items you need.

In the comments section, please note that this order is for the CAM GP. You will be contacted via phone with correct pricing and verification of details such as custom cam specs.

Also, please be aware, this is/was not a SALE. This was a GP for members of LS1Tech. However, if you did place an order for a cam during the timeframes outlined in the original GP post, contact me directly and I will take care of you and honor the GP pricing.

There was obviously some miscommunication here. If you placed an order or still would like to place an order, there is no issue. Possibly at the time you wanted to place your order we had not yet recieved the 10 needed to make the GP. Let me know if I can help.

x2 and you gave me the specs asked about changing ito a 113+3 instead and was told you would double check that would still be ok (224/230 .609 .604 113+3 is what i'm looking at)...looking to order cam only

Mine's a custom grind too. I simply selected CUSTOM from the drop down cam selector menu (on the cam page) when I first ordered. Then you can list the lobes/LSA/ICL in the comments or tell them when they call you.

Thats what i was going to say, just select it from the drop down.

I am going to order mine today :) Better get the order in before IKE gets there.
