Default Check out this roll cage... PICS

Found this really nice roll cage setup on an ebay car... Looks badass! I assume this is a setup for some kinda auto-X class?

Also on this car, i guess these are homemade brake cooling ducts mounted under the nose?

Nice cage..those duct's look like they are just directing more air to the AIR DAM from the nose.

cool cage wonder why that painted the complete inside blue, would be a nice color for the car if it was finished on the outside

looks like the inside was blue to start off with then they painted it silver on the outside. Doubt they'd go through the trouble to paint the inside and not the outside - unless they are going through a color change and just haven't completed it yet. That would make sense either way.

Either way though that is a very nice looking cage. I've seen a cage like that before in a BMW or Subaru just can't remember what it was exactly.

I bet that is the case... Looks like they planned on it being that blue (hence the cage color), started a FULL show car color change and didn't finish for some reason...

Although, don't know why the jams wouldn't have been sprayed when the rest of the inside was sprayed...

That cage looks cool but I don't like what you have to do the door panels to make it work.

The worst part is that car only has 7900mi on it... its takes some real ***** to hack a car with such low miles. Also has a dif engine.

Kinda makes you think. Why buy a 2000 SS with 7900mi and hack the interior and swap engines? Im thinking either its a salvage of some sort, or it was stolen at some point.

I imagine you could buy a cheap-o plain ole camaro of the same year with high mileage and do this for wayyyy cheaper..

Also that autopower company. On their website it doesn't appear that they make this cage specifically for our cars. Maybe the owner adapted one from another setup?

Looks generally similar to their setup for the miata.

http://www.autopowerindustries.com/miataspec.asp

looks like it was built for scca specs?
