cut outs on y pipe?

Default cut outs on y pipe?

has anyone tried cut outs on their y pipes with lts i dont really know if i want to place 2 on the y pipe but it seems like a cool idea

so like 2 cut outs right on the Y pipe right? right after the headers... i wonder which sounds better 1 right after the collector on the y pipe or 2 on the y pipe?

you might be in danger of hurting the 02 sensors with the exhuast being open so close to them, i could be wrong-

you could burn up ur o2's easy....honestely one in the i-pipe whould b fine

put mine just last week near the axle......right where the i pipe ends...sounds great with one cutout....now just need true duel's and one more curout and then im done with the exhaust

ya....that will be my final exhaust setup...longtubes/x pipe/dual cherry bombs (or some other muffler) then maybe one more cuttout....no cats...you get the picture

not trying to sound like a dick or anything man but cherry bombs with cut-outs? ur car will sound like a dump truck, it will b horrible sounding...do ur car a favor and get real mufflers

well ya...not final on the muffler yet....but this car has the same exact setup with out the cutouts...so maybe will just do that then, no cutouts....wont hurt though

there are some great mufflers by flow master.. they are tiny . my friend has them on his 69 nova. andd they are like race mufflers one in and one out.. and they are really loudd. but yeh i dont have any cats so thats why i was wondering how it would sound if i had 2 on the y pipe

ya but they atleast have muffeling material in thm...glass packs are like the Lm1 resonators...just a hollow tube

are the slp bulet mufflers 31067 any gud....cause that is my first choice....long tubes/x pipe/twin slp's....should sound really nice...

thats the loudmouth 2 bullets..never heard it on duals in person...i have heard it in the cataback version though and it sounds alright....i like the magnaflow mufflers dumped....hear is mr.lous's car ...hes a member on tech, i think it sounds great http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGoRrfF39ig
