Default AZ emission failure

So i went this past saturday and my car failed everything except for the gas cap test. So my question is where is a good place to take my 94 z28 to get my **** fixed so i can pass emissions this week. Im thinkin about going to greenway auto but if anyone can chime in on good shops they have went to here in az that are as inexpensive as possilbe i would appreciate it. Im taking tomorrow off work to take my car in so if anyone can let me know some good reliable places i would appreciate it. My car is bone stock so im thinking a good tune up should fix my problems but last time i checked my tune up was gonna cost me like 700 bucks. ****** opti spark is soooo expensive. THanks guys.

I didn't even know it was possible to fail smog in other states besides California.

Do you have a cat? if you don't put one on, you will need it. Put a 1/4 tank of gas in it and some 91% alcohol that you can buy at wal mart. It will pass. Just make sure all your sensors are plugged in and working correctly. If you have a 160 degree thermostat put a stock one back in as well. I just got my heads/cam lt1 car through emissions like that.

yeah the car is bone stock and has no modifications at all. I might just try that, i have a feeling my car is in need of a tune up so thats probably part of my problem.

hey thanks ruckus it nice to know that u had experience with his buddies shop and you can say that its a good spot to go to. Im gonna call him later today and bring my car in there tomorrow morning and hopefully it can get fixed in a day cause my car is my DD and im already takin a day off tomorrow to take it in. I would take it to a performance shop but i just cant afford their prices right now. Hopefully in the next couple months the car should be gettin some goodies. But the maintenance is what is needed now since im stuck in this car now cause nobody was interested in a green hardtop auto. Its like a triple threat of a car that nobody wants. lol

I dont think Sean at topgear does smog. But still call him. The shop next door to him does smog. Seems like he is always busy over there.

oh its possible cause it just happened last weekend and im not throwing any codes. they run my car on the rollers through a track on their little computer screen i should have bought a 96-97 then i could have just been plugged into my computer and it would be over. I just threw down 600 bucks on my tune up cause my damn opti was expensive as ****. Im gonna get a high flow cat and get it welded in hopefully saturday. Does anyone know any muffler shops in az open on saturday morning that would do this for me.

Double check with Dale, but I'm almost positive the Mad Hatter will be open on Saturday. They are on 7th st just south of Bethany on the west side of the road.
