Default Turtle wax Ice questions inside

Is this even wax? Seems odd its very thin and I could call it watery almost and spreads a **** load. Sounds like the damn easiest wax ever and it is but how can this work as good as other stuff? or is this stuff crap.

Ideas?

The paste is pretty good, the liquid, not so much. Neither of them last very long at all though.

Ya that Carnuba wax is nuts to take off but man does it look nice. You put it on by hand or buffer? You use a polish before hand?

PS the liquid is by most accounts crap because it has 0 chance to remove swirls or anything of that nature but it does leave a decent shine.

Another thing I'd like to know from anyone who uses it does it act like other waxes, how you have to wait like 8-12hours to reapply another coat.

the liquid turtle wax ice is crap! it might look ok,,, once you finally get the Vaseline like crap wiped off! took over an hour to do just the hood and even then it just kinda looked like amour all on paint. the paste type isnt much better, alittle easier to remove though. i would stick with one of the more widely used waxes or polishes commonly recommended here. one turtle wax product i do like is the color matching wax they make. i picked up a bottle of the black wax for the carbon fiber on my bike and decided to use it on the car to see how it works,, looks very good!

Meguires is the only non professional products that I'll use. I'm still trying to coordinate with my buddies since they have only the best products. I want to get my car polished

I use the spray at times. Works great, really puts out the shine on darker cars. The liquid stuff is ok, but it doesnt last long. Its great for black plastic parts, I usually just use it on my flat black ceta rear panel, it works great on it.

the liquid ice is great if you have bug marks and chips because is doesnt leave the white wax build up in them like the other waxes do, one good thing i found

No durability. Good for plastic parts. Other than that I stick to Collinite for durability and Pinnacle for looks.

It is good for plastic caps on the back of my 2002 Suburban. I tried it on my black Camaro, and it looks like I used mop n glo on the paint.
