Default cant get the exhaust that feeds the turbo to clamp together?

I initially broke a V-band clamp on my exhaust where it feeds the turbo. I found a replacement that fits the exhaust and i clamped it together. The car quieted down some but I am still not able to get any boost?

the exhaust looks sealed together. I tightened the clamp as much as i could. What else could be possible? Do i need a gasket in between the pieces to seal it completely? This has been very frustrating. Also, I dont think the leak could be anywhere else. It began after I broke that clamp obviously but was fine before that. Any suggestions welcome.

v-band clamps come in different widths, make sure you have the correct one,if the v in the clamp is too wide it will not clamp to 2 pipes together enough to seal

There are so many different widths/angles that they come in its near impossible to find the right one. Your best bet would be to find a V-band assembly (2 flanges and the clamp) then just cut and re-weld it in.

Breeze and Clampco are the big ones.

Check their websites and look at the dimensions.
