Default Questions on wideband for Dynotune lean shutdown switch

I'm getting ready to install my Dynotune lean shutdown switch, and have a dilemma. I was planning to get an lc-1 wideband. I know it's what Dynotune recommends, and will make the shutdown switch more accurate. The problem I have, is that I'm running a y-pipe with high flow cats. If I install the wideband at the header, then it will only read one bank. Kinda defeats the purpose, especially since I have seperate fuel solenoids for each bank. It's a directport setup. If the opposite bank go's lean, the shutdown switch won't deactivate the nitrous. If I install the wideband after the y, then the readings will be skewed by the cats. Any suggestions other than running 2 lean shutdown switches and 2 widebands? Your thoughts?

How is the accuracy being that far from the headers?

no problems on mine, but might be better to talk directly to one of the manufacturers.

the drivers side bank runs leaner than the passenger side. Cylinder number 7 runs the leanest.... that is bank 1. put it on the drivers side. The farther you put it from the collector, the less accurate it is.

It always has to be before the cats...

Couldn't you install it in the ypipe before the cat?

Won't do me any good to put it on one bank. Way to easy for the other bank to go lean. Ie, fuel solenoid doesn't open on that bank or jet gets clogged. The lean shutdown switch would never detect it since it's not monitoring both banks. Might not be bad with a single nozzle, 2 solenoid setup, but with seperate solenoids for each bank and the smaller jets of a directport setup, I need to monitor both banks. I agree, wideband in just the left bank would be fine for tuning, but no good for my nitrous setup.

Can't install in the y-pipe before the cats because the y doesn't come together untill after the cats, so I would still be monitoring only 1 bank.
