Update on the 408 APS car. Made 634rwhp @ 11psi and 809rwhp @ 18psi through a T400.
We will dial it back a bit for now as the 60lb injectors were at 106% DC with 73.5psi base pressure.

Pretty good numbers but would have thought they would have been higher with the bigger turbos at 18psi. Now turbo 400 converters have no lock up?? so would that also make it read quite a bit lower than stay a converter that locks in a 4l80e? any estimates on how much lower it would be?
What intake manifold were you running? What compression ratio? Was this pump gas or alc injection. What afr and timing? I would assume secret cam specs?
Looks like the bigger turbos have no trouble putting out 18psi without any collapsing duct problems?
How about spool up..where does the boost start to come in at. I could still trade up for the bigger turbos as haven't even installed mine yet.

The torque converter was not locked, and yes that means a signifigantly lower number to the rear tires.
LS6 intake manifold, around 9-1 compression (I'll find out exactly), Through Borla exhaust.
100 octane, 11.8-12.0 a/f ratio. 15 deg@peak tq 17 deg@peak hp. Cam is 232/232 113lsa.
Can't give you an accurate estimate of turbo response with the unlocked converter as it flashes while it's building boost. Responds quickly with no perceptible lag.
Boost held perfectly flat up to 7k rpm with the EB2 which indicates the ducts are not a restriction. I don't imagine they will collapse as they are rather beefcake

Anyone know approx how much lower number do to an unlocked converter?are we talking 50 rwhp here or 20 or 100 at this power level?
Anyway good to see the boost was steady and looks like no problems with the bigger turbos and their intake tubes. Now we need someone to test the improved tubes on the smaller turbos at high boost.

If you want a guess I would say a locked converter could be 50-70 more at the tires.
