Default No SES after header install

Allright, so I finished my header install this week and evrything went pretty smooth. I started the car up (w/ only 1 O2 sensor) and it idled fine and ran good. But to my surprise, no check engine lights have come on. I've been driving it for a few days now and it still hasn't thrown any codes. Any ideas why?

Did you tune out the EGR/AIR codes + rear o2's with Hptuners? Not sure if you can do that but a possibility

turn the key to the on position with the engine not running and see if the light comes on, the bulb could burned out.

The SES light has to be on. Either the previous owner ran LTs and tuned out the 02s and returned to stock, or the bulb is burnt out.

My guess is bad bulb

I dunno... when I did LTs no light came on either... when I took it to be tuned someone had locked the computer... The only people that could have done that was Chevrolet when I took the car in to replace the cats... that may explain why it continued to run like crap after they replaced the defective cats.... If you had them replaced under warranty same thing could have happened to you... The tuned out all my o2s to avoid the warranty

it might take a while. Mine came on w/ cats and both sets of 02's hooked up after a couple weeks. You say you have HPTuners, disable the codes for all that **** anyway and dont worry about it.

There is a certain number of error counts before the light comes on. Maybe you havn't reached that number yet? im not sure.

Well the bulb isn't burned out, so maybe I'll just give it more time. I planned on just tuning them out anyway but was just curious to why they didn't come on.

It just came on last night. Guess it just took it a little while.
