Some pictures of my caliper powdercoating work
Hey guys..
Thought I'd toss up some pics of LS1tech members calipers I've done recently, probably alot of you brake guys that don't visit the areas where these pics keep ending up
Pricing is $185 plus a $20 flat rate shipping charge. No extra charge to put the decals on and clear over them if you provide decals.(Afterthoughts Auto was were this person bought them from). I have a few sets of cores for core exhanges as well. Core charge is $200 and is refunded when I recieve yours back. There is typically a waiting list for the core exchange, but if you just send yours my turnaround is a couple days usually. I can even take credit cars and paypal, etc. Any questions feel free to PM me, be glad to help
Sean
Mirror black w/ customer supplied decals, then clear over it all. brackets are "near chrome"
mirror red caliper and bracket
my custom match for fbody NBM, brackets in mirror black
mirror black caliper, rally silver brackets

Wow, those are beautiful. They make the work I did on mine look like crap.
How durable is the finish? I painted and wet sanded mine over the winter and the paint is already chipping off in places where the wheels have hit the caliper when I put the wheels on and off.

what color do you all think would look good on a pewter car with chrome zr1s. i thought red with black brackets, but after seeing the black with the near chrome those look good to. what color is the camaro sticker on the black caliper. thanks

major: powder as you are likely aware is so much more durablthan paint of any kind there is hardly a comparison. The surface is extremely hard yet flexible and resists removal of any kind.
Yes price is for all 4 to be done.
On a pewter car either red or black calipers are a nice classic look, but I can do anything. Whatever you like

The near chrome on the brackets in the pic is the only chrome powder available. It does look like chrome until you clearcoat it, which you MUST do. The clear dulls it way out, basically looks like the brighest non metallic silver you can imagine and does have a nice reflective quality to it.

Hey Jon..
I got your MAF and pulley FINALLY today(dang USPS). they are in the oven curing right now as we speak in that nice NBM I'll get you pics tonite before I ship out tomorrow...
Fronts would be $100 plus $15 return shipping flat rate fee. If you sent me a rear one to work with yeah I could either match it dead nuts or awfully danged close I'm sure. I can control the color of a candy red by the basecoat I use and how thick I shoot the topcoat... so yeah it could be done

ah what the hell i like posting pictures.
here is the billet power steering pulley and maf ends RooRnz28 sent me, done in my NBM match, arrived tonite and complete tonite. no powder is in the belt surface area as you can see in the second pic I ported the MAF ends and shaved the exteriors before powdercoating.
