Interior Noise
Hey fellow Monte owners, do any of you have a lot of noise coming for your interior door panels?
My 07 creeks like crazy, didn't know if i could shim it or what.
Thanks in advance.

When do you hear the noises?
My Driver door squeaked like crzy when opening and closing. A little WD40 Fixed that problem.
Other than that I had a anoying squeak coming from the headliner and the sliding sunroof cover only when it was retracted back into the headliner. When going over small bumps I could hear it even with the radio on. Got so mad that a new car would do that I gave it a couple of upercuts while driving one day and that fixed it LOL.

Yeah mine does that too, darn sliding shade for the sunroof. It does it when ever i am driving, going over bumps, going 25 in a school zone, just does it whenever it feels like it....stupid car does it just to **** me off i swear.
Also i have ringing/humming noise from the rear seat area, i think it might be the map dome lamp.

The BSR in the S/R may be the hook and loop coming undone.
I have a BSR in the driver door, when the radio is on - bass induced as well. There is a plastic water shield that has tacky putty holding it to the door.
My car didn't have any real issues until the *_____* rear ended me.

I must be the exception. I read all the time about the interior noise on GM cars and occasionally I'll listen for them but mine is quiet. Still, the road noise is louder than my Bonneville was, but that is to be expected with the exorbitant amount of noise dampening material in the doors, floor, etc. in the Bonnie.

I hear creaking behind my seat belt (driver side b-pillar) when I go over bumps, other than that it's pretty quiet. The road noise is kinda crazy with these tires, but Colorado is beginning to incorporate recycled, ground-up tires in some of their new asphalt (rubberized asphalt?)- the difference is amazing! There's one strip between Denver and Colorado Springs that is unbelievably quiet and smooth. You hit it and you feel like you're floating.
