Default FAST + meziere WP

so these are 2 mods i've been throwing around. obviously they won't be done at the same time.

however...
looking at the ls1howto.com site, sometimes you have to trim the STOCK TB cam arm (where the cable wraps) for clearance on the meziere pump.

i'm curious what has to be done if you were putting a FAST 92/92 on an engine with the Mez pump? since its bigger is there a major clearance issue? or is it fine?

someone have some first hand info?

NOBODY has installed these two mods together?

if the stock throttle cable cam almost interferes with the WP housing....does the FAST 90 setup do the same?

or is the mouth of the FAST designed a bit higher to accomodate the added size?

I have the 90 intake w/ the 92 throttle body (LS1). It wouldn't work with the the electric water pump. It did work w/ the 90 mm throttle body though.

interesting...wonder what it was about the 92 that caused the issue.

hard to imagine an increase in intake mouth size of 2mm would do it.

thanks for the input

They are not in front of me but they are built differently, it's not just the 90 to 92 size.

hmmm...didn't know that.

looks like i should be hunting for a used 90/90.

still wondering if the 92/92 can be clearanced to fit.

curious if the new Street Warrior would fit. maybe i'll do the pump and then be the guinnea pig for the SW intake in a few months.

i think what he meant to say was it will work with a 90 or a 92 not a stock one ive seen plenty of the 92/92 setups clear the meziere 300 e/water pump
