Default building a TT Lt5 in a 1983 corvette VID AT THE END

well we need a good breaking oil for the TT LT5.

when i got my motor from SDPC they sent vr1 racing oil 30W for breakin. is this oil good still good for a breakin, or should i use something else?

there are HD vids on the 7th page!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevy_corvette

The 1983 model year was skipped due to production problems, although 44 prototype 1983 models were completed. All 44 1983 model year prototypes assembled were crushed except for one (the 23rd produced), which is displayed at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
There is no such thing as an '83 corvette.

You know, if you're really building a twin turbo vehicle with an LT5 motor, at this point do you really feel like you have to ask someone on the internet what oil to use for break in?

What kind of air are you using in the tires?

no, i think you are supposed to use sodium or sulfer rich oil for break in purposes but i might be wrong.

Yes there is... in fact, I saw it in person and snapped these pics including the vin

The ONLY 1983 Corvette on Earth

1983 Vin Number

edit, I don't know why the pics are small, they were found in search of a thread I created 6 months ago from visiting the Corvette museum.

im sorry i meant 82 my finger sliped when i went to hit the 2. ill take pics of it when it stops raining. but i was just wondering about the vr1 oil i know it has alot of zinc but i never knew if it was a synthetic or not? we were going to put RP break in oil in it, if the vr1 has synthetics in it

the motor has stock everything except JE pistons, and oliver rods. ported heads. and intake manifold. we custom made SS exhaust manifold, to bolt up the turbos. i contacted revextream about making the fuelrails. since are are leaking in to spots.

ill try get pics on here later tonight. it is sitting on a stand that we made that allows us to start the motor and run it. kind of like a engine dyno.

I though with roller cams, you didn't have to do break ins? Now, I know this is OHC, but I'd assume pretty much a similar deal.

I have 2 great pics of an LT5 TT. One is just stock, the other is Year Ones in Tim Allen's Chevelle
