Set the DTC to 3 - no error reported, uncheck the SES box, and then load the new tune.

First off its a PO420 CAt low eff. code. Second you need to get familiar with HP Tuners before you start tuning. You can do more damage than good. Read stickies on here about it and get on HP's forum. Education is your best tool when tuning. I've had the program for a couple months now and am getting more familiar with it the more I read and look into other ppl's tunes. The more you learn the better you will become. Oh, a wideband O2 sensor and gauge will help you out a lot as well. Take your time with this. You will be more impressed with the results and you will start to teach yourself. Trust me.

Don't think it matters. Once you clear the code and set to do not report, you are having to reflash anyway. I had to turn mine off long ago.
