Unhappy Accidently chipped pinion tooth!

Just my luck I chipped my pinion tooth. Think I could run this? Sorry for the crappy pics didn't feel like messing with the camera. Please help, thanks in advance.

You might get away with some grinding to smooth it out but if the chip is located where it contacts the ring gear then you will have gear noise.

I don't think it'll make contact. But if it did I guess I could live with gear noise as long as it won't cause premature wear or failure. I'll try to get better pictures today so you can get a better idea. Thanks again.

simply smooth it out with a disc sander or flapper wheel. just make surenot to contact any otherpart of the teeth. It will be fine.

when you go to install. makesure when you do your wipe pattern with the white stuff they give ya in the kit, doesnt get anywhere near that chip.
