Default Flow Match or Not?

I just purchased a new set of FMS Red Top 30# injectors. Should I get them flow matched before installing? What are the advantages of flow matching them?

Do you want all your cylinders to get the same amount of fuel?

You can't flow match a set you already bought tho. Flow matching works like this, we take 80 injectors and out them on the flow bench, some flow 30, some flow 29, some flow 31.

We group all the ones that flow the same and make sets out of them. Thats flow matching. Can't be done with a single set.

So I wasted my money on a new set? Why do they even sell them in sets if they do not deliver the same amount of fuel?

I can't speak for other places. Every set we sell, new or rebuilt are flow matched.

Your car will run on the set you bought tho

OK. So they will work. How much will you charge me if I send you my new set and you send me a set of new flow matched? They have to be the Ford Motorsports redtop 30#. How will I know if they are in fact, flow matched?

Unfortunately I can't buy those ones from you. We don't sell any non-flow matched sets, and those red tops are no longer being produced, so I have no way of getting other injectors to flow match them to.

that said, I was about to post up a thread of a sale were having on a couple different sets of our injectors. Were selling the new Design III Bosch (the reds you have are design II) in 30lb, brand new, flow matched for $299 for the set.

If you put those red tops you bought on ebay you can get $200 for them all day long, imo that would be your best bet.

I can give you my word that they are flow matched. But if you like I can also give you a flow sheet on them

I will try what I have for now. If I have any fueling issues, I will contact you for a new set.
Thanks
