Re: Pictures of my new Direct Port setup
Thats nice! BUT I'll bet that was a PAIN to install! I want to upgrade to a direct port but its really hard to get races with my set-up now(unless its car a hell of a lot faster than I am)

Very cool, how does it perform, like idling, mild acceleration and hard accel. Any times yet. Once you get it flogged give us, who want to run this set-up, a run down. Thanks
Edit: man that looks like it was hard to plumb, but I think it will be much easy'r on my Vette.

Very nice job. Can you tell us a little about your fuel system? I noticed you used what appears to be a Holley Fuel Regulator. Did you sump the tank and go with a separate low pressure pump for the nitrous? I am curious as to what pump you used and where the line is going that is t'ed in just after the regulator. Is it for a gauge or some sort of method to get air out of the lines with a dead-headed regulator?
Sorry for all the questions, but I am in the process of completing my fuel system for my direct port and I am curious as to how it compares to yours. That and I feel that fuel systems for nitrous systems are the least understood part of a nitrous install, yet one most important parts of the install.

Very nice Mike. How big of a shot are you going to finally end up at? Progressive controller? With the DFI system coming out soon, that would set you up for some very low 9's on an endless shot of the laughing gas (on a 'stock' 346 ci motor ). Outstanding

300 Shot That is what I am gonna be working up to myself in the next few weeks hopefully.
So what pump are you feeding that 300 shot with if you don't mind sharing?

Re: Pictures of my new Direct Port setup
Mike i have to ask what makes this system kick the NOSzle's *** as you put it? achievable HP power levels? dyno numbers with the same "jetted" HP level? track times with the same power level?
with a 300 shot you are at the nylon line limit of course. you have upgraded to larger lines which help with the flow at your power level. Not trying to start a flame here just interested in what makes the differences in your view? I love my NOSzle setup. it was easy to install, awesome performance, easy initial hit, and with a 150rwhp power level 15mph consistently (132 traps on a bone stock Z06).
but for the ultimate level(300 and up) i would go traditional direct port due to consistent flow levels.
Either way its a bad *** setup.. and 300 out of the hole um yeah "hold the **** on" is an understatment!!

Chicago,
You read it wrong. Read what I wrote again. I said the TNT kicked major *** however I stepped up to a direct port so I can go with a larger shot without having to worry about distribution problems. I was told by TNT that a 200 shot was the max that they recommended I go with their F2 setup. Who mentioned anything about NOSzle??????
