Going bigger... cam choices.
I just want to swap out the C1 and keep the 918's/ hardened pushrods / stock retainers setup. I'd upgrade chain(reliability) and pulley (more hp) if anything.
My choices are:
1 - TR230 230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA (Pro: Seems great all around Con: It probably sounds less wicked than the ASA.)
2 - GM ASA 226/236 .525/.525 110 LSA (Pro: Mad crazy sound, easy on valve train Con: You don't know what you're gonna get in terms of drivability.)
3 - MTI X1 230/227 .591/.571 112 LSA (Pro: Looks like a powerful cam Con: .591 lift on 918's)
Maybe I answered my own question. Seems like a TR230 would be the way to go, but my irrational side leans towards the ASA for that chop. The sound clip sounds awesome.
Any opinions and/or other cams I should consider? Thanks.

What about a TSP 228R? 228/228 .588/.588 112? or the TSP 228/224?

X1 cam all the way. I love it! See Sig for numbers safely tuned for spray. My timing is alittle low and I run rich for the spray. I would never change unless I go to a stroker!!!Soon.
I have dyno sheet if you would like to see!

There have been alot of good dyno numbers posted here lately with the TR230. If I was buying one of the cams you listed, I'd probably do the TR230 mostly based on the great performance while keeping a half way sane lift on both the intake and exhaust.

By coincidence, as I viewed this post last, I went over to Ebay and saw a TR230 listed for $250 w/ 3000 miles on it. Bought it! Thanks for the replies all, can't wait to put the sucker in. Also went to ls1info and heard some pretty cool TR230 sound clips.
The 918's should hold up ok to this thing (cross my fingers).
