Need a good launch and some nitrous. Speaking of that i see the zex 82235 kit comes up as a match to my car now.

lol, I can't do that I have 6 years of warranty left, I just read in my motor trend that the 300C is 5.8 secs and the GXP is 5.7 secs.

These cars ate too close, it's a drivers race. Not at a 40 roll though

Make sure you dont have a full tank of gas too. Thats like an extra 75-100 lbs in the rear.

well i hate to say it being a a grand prix gxp owner myself, but simply no,. it will have a better launch, better set up(RWD) and about 40-50 more horsepower(it weighs more but not by that much), I mean sure you can almost be on par with it if you have like a gallon of gas and use the timing of the tapshift or tuning the timings of the tranny just right, because that is what it takes to get that 5.7 0-60 times in our cars. but lets face it if you have to go through all that to tie with a car that doesnt have to do that, then were just slower... period.. but not by enough to where i think its a better car. were talking very slight differences here. but ya its a tad faster , kinda debating between two girls the one you have is nice and awesome in bed, the other one is good too and has slightly bigger **** but isn't worth leaving your main girl for.

Sounds like that comparison was from personal experience.

I think you can take em! Man listen, I know that this is not exactly a perfect comparison, but at the ATL motor Speedway there were all kinds of LS4 Montes lighting up those Charger R/Ts!!!!!!!!!!

oh yea, if you know how to drive you can take him pretty easily off the line, those things cant put down torque, even with the big 5.7, but im positive you will win, just make sure it isnt the 6.1 that would be a big difference and really makes the chrysler cars shine.. but especially if you have magnaflows, youve got nothing to worry about

Just do it and see what happens. I raced a 300C last year at Pacific raceways and with a tune and a catback the 300c was running 14.15's all day long. I was hitting 14.0's stock. I called him out so we lined up and he ran a 14.07 to my 14.58. I let my g/f ride with me during that race. I got the jump but after 2nd gear he pulled out and kept going.

We have a great engine but it's restricted due to the intake manifold and rear exhaust manifold also the gearing in the trans sucks.

Race him. I beat one from a roll around 15 mph. Once you get the jump, he won't catch you.

Remember to shut down around 95 mph, thats close to the trap at a 1/4
