Still confused about PCV
Right now I have everything capped off, with a breather on the valve cover.
I dont think its enough, so I am trying to figure out a different approach. The dip stick raises about a half inch when I go into boost. You cant notice that it is up, unless you press down on it and it goes back in a bit.
What do you guys think of this setup?

Why would you put a breather AND connect the intake to the valve cover with a 1-way? You're getting un-metered air in the intake.
Two ways...
Block off everything in the intake and run only the breather and the tubing from the valve covers to the turbo inlet ... although hippie tree huggers are gonna cry with that route.
Or you can go the earth loving way and not have the valve cover breather and run the 1-way check valved hose to the intake and the valve cover tubing to the turbo inlet.
Running a LS6 valve cover?

easy is to run 2 catch cans.
put breather on a nipple in the rear driver side valve cover.
hook pcv up with checkvalve and catchcan from passenger valve cover or ls6 port if you got it.
hook up other valvecover port to c2nd catch can to turbo inlet.
now if you do this and your still pushing the dipstick you must do a leak down test because id truly beleive you have some bad mechanical damage. like blown apart ringlands or a piston or 2 with custom skylights in them.
personaly if your running a breather now and your checkvalve is install right and working and your pushing the dipstick..... your pistons and or rings are toast.
do a leakdown before you start chasing a problem pcv setups just cant fix.

No checkvalve is installed.
Only thing that I did was put a breather on, cap all the outlets, and the 2 rear ports of the valvecovers are on a T to a small breather.
So 1 big breather on the oil cap, and 1 small breather connected to the line that connects the 2 rear ports on the valvecovers.
Think it could still be an issue with the rings?

yup, that's a tree huggers nightmare ... lol ... well, it'll be the ultimate if you didn't run the hose to the turbo
