Default C5 vs Lotus Exige S

Driving home and some yahoo from NYC was on my bumper trying to provoke me...

I don't advocate road racing, but since the road was open I fig'd I'd make an exception...plus all the NY'ers heading into my area on weekend generally annoy me!

I gave him the jump and when I punched the gas on the C5...she quickly and steadily put some serious distance on him. By about 100 there must have been a half mile or more...LOL

I really thought them cars were faster. They aint cheap either.

Theres one of them lil suckers in chattanooga... He is the badass of the imports.

What's done to the c5? If you've got full bolt ons or less then I'll smoke this guy too.

Just basic bolt-ons!

She puts down 350/360 whp/wtq.

Half a mile or more? The Exige S isn't exactly a "fast" car, but it ain't slow. That sounds like a GROSS overstatement. Good kill though.

Ha well OK guys...wasn't a half mile...just a little figure of speech there...but I assure you he was racing...and kept coming back for more. The margin was quite large I assure you that!

Bottom line...Lotus got spanked!

Well what did you want him to say?

"According to my calculation based on the velocity of his automobile, my distance from his vehicle was exactly 0.245 miles."

Maybe something closer to the truth, like...

"He was a handful of cars back."
