Default Almost got my first race....m3

I have a stock 98 t/a with only a magnaflow cb. I was coming home on the interstate last night and came up on a mid nineties bmw m3. I came up beside him and we messed with each other a little bit, but there was a lot of traffic ahead and we couldnt get a good run in. Are these m3's fast at all?

I'm not much into these cars, but the 90s body style ones are slow. The ones from '00 and up I think run low 13s stock, probably wouldve been a decent race if you're an M6. If you're a stock converter A4 car he would've walked away from you.

Mid ninties?!
Could've possibly been an e36 m3; if so, no contest.

e36=not so fast. have potential from what I have seen with boost, but stock....no. 260ish hp I believe
e46=sex on wheels IMO. Good races, but we have the advantage. 333 listed hp.

Even the e46's are not a race for an LS1

Um... no. They are very much a good race with a stock LS1.

maybe a bone stock ls1 might have a little trouble but man I am telling ya, I just raced one...actually the thread was made a few days ago. My car even has a bad ratio of gears in the rear (3.23). Power mods I have exhaust, Lingenfelter intake, lid, maf, and hypercrap tuner. That is ALL I have for power mods. It is not far from stock to be honest. I put cars on that M3 like it was a stock GT 2 valve.
