Default HPE and my recent purchase

I just got my motor running this week. It is a 415 solid roller. I dealt exclusively with Erik Koenig during the process and he was extremely helpful. Not only helpful with the build choices...but even helped diagnose what caused the failure of the 385 ci motor in the first place. It was the Comp Solid roller lifters. Erik took the 385 with the ruined bearings and crank and turned it into a fresh 415 ci monster using the same block but all new internals. I now have about 30 miles on the motor and everything is great...including the new lifters he sold me to replace the Comps. Oil pressure is fantastic!!!
Erik returned ALL of my calls and ALL of my emails...everytime.
So...I got good service at a great price with a quick turnaround time with 0 problems. Cant ask for much more?!?!

I for one will be going back. Great job HPE!

MAde 555 rwhp on the HPE 415 ci motor. Oil pressure was rock solid an didnt skip a beat all the way to 7500 rpm. SAE and Actual HP was the same for some reason. It was 90 degrees and 90% humidity. More break in,tung and weather it should do 575 rwhp.

I wont start another thread, but will give this one a bump

Back in July 05, I bought some Callies rods and Mahle pistons, along with some other small rebuild parts.

Now again at start of 06, I have just recieved my new Eagle stroker crank, some Pistons ( replaced via Ross duel to faulty ones I purchased a long time ago ) and a new camshaft

Again, a few gaskets and smaller re-build items.

I also dealt with Erik, and will say he gave me a first class service.

Pleasure to do business with.

A happy customer from the UK,

Stevie

Just got my 383 short block from them.
Very impressed so far with it and I haven't even gotten it out of the crate.
Maybe I'm just easily impressed but life is simpler that way.
